pre fullmoon thanksgiving party updates
time flies... it's almost 1 month since the arrival of Hope... we'll be celebrating her fullmoon thanksgiving this wkn. she's really a joy to behold.. God's gift to us- created in His image... . May she grow to be a woman after God's heart and truly bring Hope to the hopeless.
am planning to bring her to visit the aunties in Penang in Sept before resuming work in Oct. Hopefully she will be following a schedule thn so it's easier to gauge her actions. Am learning how to cope after the confinement aunty leaves which is 4 days from now (fri). there's gonna be 2 clinic visits and aso a 1 yr birthday party.. and another jeje birthday.

the Arrival of Hope
am pumping milk as I'm writing this.... Baby Hope was born on 17 June 2016 at 2.08am... She decided to enter this world 3weeks early , 1 day before daddy is scheduled to leave for Cambodia business trip. W
Was ready to pack stuff on Wednesday nite when there's water trickling down... Tat was the start of baby Hope's announcement.. Got admitted to the hospital on Thursday wee hours to check. True enuf... The water bag is leaking - bloody show ( mucus plug came out in the process)
So the whole process begins...
Thur (16/6)
- waiting for contractions but non arrived so went for induced at 1419 (2.19pm)
- 4 pm++ dilation at 1.5 cm not a good sign. Not much contractions
- 6pm++ administered penthadine...
[Pethidine -Another form of pain relief is the intramuscular injection (into the muscle of your thigh or buttock) of The injection can also help you to relax, which can lessen the pain.the effects last between two and four hrs]
- around 7pm++ only opened till 2cm. and we need to dilate till 9cm for the baby to come out!!! it's so gonna be long nite (-_-')
- the nurses wanted to check on the dilation at around 10.30pm but i was relunctant cos the checking is superbly painful... and then entered the doc..
- dr elizabeth came in around 11pm++ to check but my dilation is still minimum and bbH heartbeat is quite unstable cos i'm fighting the surges instead of relaxing... i was like.. oh no!! the contractions pain is unbearable to me. really dun like the surges...
- poor hubby was dozing off and he wanted to sleep so much but whnever i'm in pain just wanted him by my side... the reassurance is so strong. dun thk i can go thru this alone... having him around is great.. wonder how those ppl who delivered by themselves in the labor room can manage. really salute them.
- and then amazingly Dr eliz came in slightly pass midnite.. and said she wanted to check on the dilation. i was so worried about the surges... but then
she decided to ask me to start pushing.... using bbH strength to help wif the opening of the cervix. smart move!!
- bbH did great... mama is bad.. she vomited thruout the whole process.. and i puked to the nurses and poor mike too. felt so bad..
- am suppose to push like having constipation and hold my breath but the influx is so bad tat i can't hold it down and haf to get it outa me.
- bbH head showed whn i was lying sideways... and whn i was moved to the labor position, can't really recall how many pushes but i manage to get her out in less thn 5.. ^_^.
- she looks like a clay doll!! covered in whitish clay color wif blood.. soooooo cute. manage to get her to suckle on breast.. before mike cut the umblical cord.
- got washed up and stiched up.

Day 2 of misery
i'm into the 26 weeks of pregnancy.... Praise God from whom all blessings flow. The 1st trimester is not easy. 2nd trimester is ending soon and will start on the 3rd trimester. Haf gotten some stuff for baby... Her name will be Loh Qi-en... Am thinking of naming her Hope. Yet to be confirm.
Yesterday I started cleaning out the study for her nursery... And we'll twts whr the bombshell started. The money/financial issue came out and well... I mentioned my worries and hubby is not too happy... He scream n shouted and tempers were kinda out of controlled... And today he even decided to skip church so it's kinda severe... So yups I went to sib and the worship n message is good. Presence of God is strong... Hopefully will get to attend next week as well... Spiritually am kinda down lately.. And dry... Am praying there will be a day whn both of us (HoPe) can serve in a church that will be able to grow us spiritually... This current church we are attending I find it kinda dry but guess I'll need to follow and submit. May God show us His ways and may we seek Him in all that we do. I'm seriously lost and of no control of the situation... Only God can make the impossible - possible and He is the God of miracles.... May His name be glorified...
